Kimco’s Redevelopment Plan for the Hickory Ridge Village Center may be heard by the Howard County Zoning Board as soon as April 2019. To prepare for the next step in the process, at several recent Board meetings, the Village Board discussed the current health of the Village Center and the Board’s position on the redevelopment. The Board is considering submitting an addendum to the Community Response Statement that outlines aspects of the plan it supports and parts of the plan the Board would like to see revised. The Board had discussed revising its position and taken input from residents at regular meetings over the past several months. The Board will work on the Draft Addendum at the January 22, 2019 Board Meeting to be held in the Conference Room at The Hawthorn Center at 7:30 pm.  Please note, due to the MLK holiday, the meeting will take place on the third Tuesday instead of the third Monday of January.  Click here to review the draft.
