On January 18, the Howard County Planning Board held a work session to discuss the testimony heard earlier on January 4 on the request from Kimco Realty to redevelop the Hickory Ridge Village Center. After discussion, the Planning Board voted 5-0 to recommend to the Zoning Board that the proposal to redevelop the village center and add apartments be approved. The Zoning Board will hear the proposal on Wednesday,February 28, 2018 at 6pm at the George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Drive in Ellicott City. The community is welcome to present sworn testimony at the hearing. Written testimony will not be accepted in advance of the hearing. The Zoning Board can not have any communication about the proposal except during the hearing.
