For Buyers:
The Hickory Ridge Village-Wide Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, September 17 from 8 am-noon throughout Hickory Ridge! Look for red ribbons on street signs, indicating a participating street. A full list of streets that will have yard sales will be published at www.hickoryridgevillage.org the week of the sale.
For Sellers:
If you live in Hickory Ridge and want to participate, call or stop by the village office to register. We will put your name and street on our master list and give you a long red ribbon. That ribbon, tied to your street sign, will alert shoppers (we also recommend making your own signs). We place a classified ad in the Columbia Flier and list the yard sale on several web sites, so you can focus on selling your stuff!

We will have shredding and electronic recycling trucks in the parking lot of The Hawthorn Center from 9 am—1 pm. Village residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes of paper for shredding. Cardboard and plastic will not be accepted. You can even watch your items being shredded on a video monitor. For electronic recycling, televisions (no projection TVs), stereo equipment, office equipment, and phones are accepted. Minimal fees required for TVs larger than 26″. For details on acceptable and unacceptable items, visit our web site or call the village office. This event is free for Hickory Ridge residents. If you live outside of Hickory Ridge or on an outparcel (no CPRA), you will be charged a $3 shredding fee. Be prepared to show proof of address.
