Join us for another wonderful 50+ Lunch & Learn at The Hawthorn Center! Enjoy a delicious lunch and learn about all the wonderful sights and activities you can visit right here in Howard County. Rachelina Bonacci from the Howard County Office of Tourism will share information about Howard County’s best shopping, sightseeing, events, and restaurants. You won’t believe all the wonderful treasures hidden right in our community! The cost is $5 per person and includes lunch.
This FREE program will begin with a variety of valuable information on pet health and safety, including instruction in pet first aid and CPR as well as how to keep your pet safe during the hot summer months. The second part of the program will focus on pet bereavement, and will include an optional pet memorial ceremony for those attending the event.
Sure, you told your kids about the birds and bees when the time was right. But have you considered having “The Other Talk” now that they (and you) are older? Nobody enjoys talking about the end of life, but it’s important to make sure your loved ones know your wishes when the time comes.
The Howard County Office on Aging will provide information and resources to assist in your discussions with family members and caregivers regarding health, legal, financial, and end-of-life concerns. This FREE workshop will make “The Other Talk” easier for everyone.
